Less bureaucracy for stronger business

"The EU’s blind ideology, with its unrelenting increase of laws and demands, is drastically reducing the possibilities for European enterprises to be on a par with foreign companies, free from such regulatory burdens. I'm not referring only to Chinese subsidised companies, but also to the US or Canadian markets.

The European Green Deal is a clear example of this destructive agenda, and in this Plenary we should already start to block some dangerous measures contained in several reports, such as “Packaging and packaging waste” or “CO2 emission performance targets for heavy-duty vehicles”.

The EU should go back to its original role, as an institution facilitating cooperation and the increase of the economic growth, whilst protecting our business environment.

Only by proceeding in this way will we be able to create prosperity and maintain a competitive position on the global stage."
